A young tenor, Nenad Čiča (eng. Nenad Chicha) has recently made his Italian debut as Fenton at Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova. He is a honorary member of National Theatre in Belgrade since 2012. where he made his debut as a Messagero (Aida), quickly followed by number of other roles: Licinius (In hoc signo-world premiere); Steuermann (Der Fliegende Holländer); Narraboth (Salome), Cassio (Otello), Emperor and Tesla (Melancholic dreams of Count Sava Vladislavic-world premiere); Ismaele (Nabucco); Lensky (Eugene Onegin); Alfredo Germont (La Traviata), Duca di Mantova (Rigoletto), Luigi (Il Tabarro), Rinuccio (Gianni Scchicchi).
He is regurarly performing as a guest soloist in Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad and „Madlenianum Opera & Theatre“ (Belgrade).
On Operosa Festival in Tivat, Montenegro in 2014, debuted in role of Romeo in Romeo et Juliette by Ch. Gounod.
As a soloist, he is collaborating also with National Symphony Orchestra and Choir of National Broadcasting Corporation, with whom he participated in performances of 9th Symphony by L.V.Beethoven.
In 2011, he made his Germany debut in production of opera by A.Salieri - Angiolina in a role of Leandro, realized by the organization Oper-Oderspree (Beeskow, Neuzelle and Frankfurt - Oder).
Born in Split, Croatia. After receiving Master's degree at Faculty of Sport and Physical education he has begun his vocal studies and received Bachelor and Master's degree at Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, in the class of Višnja Pavlović - Drakulić. During the vocal studies, he was a member of opera studio at „Madlenianum Opera & Theatre“ which was lead by KS Biserka Cvejić.
He won several national singing competitions: National competition, International singing competition „Lazar Jovanovic“, International competition „Petar Konjovic“.
He has worked with numerous distinguished teachers: Ruggiero Raimondi, Craig Rutenberg, Bernard Uzan, Ken Benson, Laura Brooks Rice, Ruth Falcon, Joan Dornemann, Stojan Stojanov Gančev, Marijana Mijanovic, Doreen Defeis and James Hopper; Snežana Brzaković, Djordje Nesic .
He collaborated with various conductors: Andrea Battistoni, Paul Nadler, Ivan Kozuharov, Kriss Russman, Larry Newland, Stephen Schreiber, Peter Leonard, Eraldo Salmieri, Christian Fitzner, Joseph Mechavich, Bojan Sudjic, Dejan Savic, Aleksandar Kojic; and also with stage directors: Marina Bianchi, Dejan Miladinovic, Nebojsa Bradic, Paolo Baiocco, Ognjan Draganov, Martin Lloyd Evans, Sharon Mohar...
He received scholarship at prestigious IVAI (International Vocal Arts Institute) in New York guided by Joan Donermann, Paul Nadler, Mignon Dunn, Sherill Milnes, Ruth Falcon, Laura Brooks Rice.
In 2010. made his debut as Alfredo in La Traviata in National theatre of Kragujevac.
